Abstract
This classroom action research aims to improve fifth-grade students' understanding of the history of Prophet Muhammad SAW through the use of a mobile application-based learning method. The study was conducted at MIN 2 Kota Lhokseumawe and carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the initial cycle, students showed limited engagement and understanding of the material. The introduction of a mobile application designed to provide interactive content, such as multimedia presentations, quizzes, and virtual timelines, increased students' interest and participation. By cycle two, students demonstrated improved comprehension of key events in the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW, including his early life, prophethood, and key milestones. The use of the mobile application allowed students to learn at their own pace and provided instant feedback, helping reinforce the lessons. This method proved effective in increasing students' understanding by providing visual, auditory, and interactive learning experiences. The study concludes that the application-based learning method is an effective strategy to engage students and enhance their understanding of historical and religious content in a more dynamic and enjoyable way.
