Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of a STEAM-based activity using digital traditional games to enhance creativity and collaboration in early childhood at RA Anak Bangsa. In this study, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) is integrated into traditional games that have been digitized to encourage learning through play. By combining digital technology with culturally significant games, the activity seeks to stimulate children's critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Additionally, the collaborative nature of the games fosters teamwork, communication, and social skills. The research is conducted through a classroom action research approach, involving a group of preschool children who participate in the STEAM-based traditional games. Data are collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and assessments of children's creativity and collaboration skills. The findings show that digital traditional games successfully enhance both creativity and collaboration among young children, providing an engaging and educational experience that bridges cultural heritage and modern technology. This study contributes to early childhood education by demonstrating how integrating STEAM with culturally relevant digital tools can improve learning outcomes.
