Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to examine the application of the simulation-based learning method in improving students' understanding and skills in performing Salat, a key component of the Rukun Islam (Five Pillars of Islam) in class IV at MIS Ma'arif Ngargogondo. The research focuses on 18 students and applies a hands-on approach to enhance their practical Salat performance. The method involves simulating the steps of Salat in a structured environment, providing students with the opportunity to actively engage in the learning process. By using real-time demonstrations and peer interaction, the study seeks to boost both theoretical knowledge and practical application of Salat. The research utilizes qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques, including observations, student feedback, and performance assessments. The results of this study are expected to show significant improvements in students' understanding of the Islamic prayer rituals, as well as their ability to perform Salat correctly. This method encourages active participation and allows students to directly experience the process of performing Salat, thereby enhancing both their comprehension and skill in practicing one of the essential aspects of Islam.
