Abstract

This study aims to explore the innovation of using audiovisual media to enhance children's interest in learning numbers and letters at RA Baiturrahman Tasikmalaya. The research employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design. The intervention involves incorporating audiovisual media, such as videos, animations, and interactive games, to make the learning process more engaging and fun. Data is collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and feedback from students. The findings reveal that the use of audiovisual media significantly increased children's enthusiasm for learning numbers and letters. Children showed greater attention, active participation, and improved retention of the material presented through multimedia. Additionally, the audiovisual approach helped cater to different learning styles, particularly visual and auditory learners, making the learning experience more accessible and effective. This study highlights the effectiveness of incorporating audiovisual media in early childhood education to foster a deeper interest in learning and improve foundational literacy skills. It suggests that integrating multimedia tools can be a valuable innovation in developing engaging and interactive learning environments for young learners.
