Abstract
This study aims to explore the implementation of Case-Based Learning (CBL) on Contemporary Fiqh to enhance students' analytical skills regarding Islamic legal issues in class XI at MAS Baburrohmah, involving 21 students. The research uses a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design. The intervention involves presenting students with contemporary Islamic legal issues, allowing them to analyze and discuss real-world cases through structured debates and critical discussions. Data is collected through observations, student interviews, and teacher reflections. The findings reveal that the Case-Based Learning method significantly improved students' ability to analyze and apply Islamic legal principles to modern issues. Students became more confident in forming arguments, discussing various perspectives, and understanding the relevance of Islamic law in contemporary society. This study highlights the effectiveness of integrating case-based learning in Islamic education, as it encourages critical thinking, enhances problem-solving skills, and promotes active engagement with real-world Islamic legal challenges.
