Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' learning interest in Thaharah (purification) material using a board game called “Fiqih Seru”. The research was conducted in Class III of MIS Miftahul Huda with a total of 18 students. The low interest in learning Islamic jurisprudence, especially in Thaharah, became the primary issue observed during the initial assessment. To address this, a board game was designed to present the concepts of purification in an engaging, competitive, and cooperative learning format. The study used Kemmis and McTaggart’s action research model, which consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages conducted over two cycles. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and field notes. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning interest from cycle I to cycle II. Students became more enthusiastic, active, and motivated during the learning process. The "Fiqih Seru" board game proved to be an effective, fun, and innovative medium to support the learning process of Islamic studies in primary education. It is recommended that this media be further developed and applied to other topics in Fiqih.
