Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of role-play center-based learning using Prophet figures to enhance Islamic character values in children at RA Masyithoh Plampang. The research employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design. The intervention involves children engaging in role-play activities, where they act as various Prophet figures, learning about their qualities, moral values, and actions. Data were collected through observations, student reflections, and teacher interviews. The findings indicate that this approach significantly improved the children’s understanding of Islamic character values, such as honesty, patience, and kindness. Role-playing with Prophet figures allowed children to internalize these values in an interactive and engaging way, promoting emotional and social development. Additionally, the study suggests that using role-play in character education is an effective method to instill moral teachings in young children, as it helps them relate to the values in a concrete and meaningful way. The results highlight the potential of role-play center-based learning in early childhood education as an innovative tool for teaching Islamic character values.
