Abstract
This study examines the implementation of Islamic Brain Gym techniques as an opening activity to enhance the concentration of young children at RA Baiturrahman. The research involved 20 students and aimed to evaluate whether incorporating physical exercises based on Brain Gym methods, combined with Islamic values, could improve children's focus and readiness for learning. The Islamic Brain Gym activities, such as simple movements and exercises related to prayer positions, were integrated with motivational elements of Islamic teachings to prepare students mentally for classroom activities. The study showed significant improvements in students' concentration, as they became more attentive and engaged in subsequent lessons. These physical exercises, which include movements related to Islamic practices like wudhu (ablution) and prayer postures, helped children focus their energy and clear their minds, allowing for a smoother transition into learning tasks. The results suggest that combining physical movement with Islamic values can be an effective strategy in improving focus and concentration in early childhood education settings. This study highlights the potential benefits of using Islamic Brain Gym techniques as part of the daily routine in RA Baiturrahman to foster better learning readiness and concentration.
