Abstract

This study examines the application of Islamic mindfulness techniques through nature contemplation (Tadabbur Alam) activities to enhance spiritual awareness and mindfulness in young children at RA Al-Jihad. Involving 20 students, the research aimed to assess the effectiveness of integrating Islamic teachings on mindfulness with nature-based activities. During the study, children participated in Tadabbur Alam sessions, where they were encouraged to observe and reflect on the beauty of nature while contemplating Allah's creation. The results showed a noticeable improvement in the children's ability to focus, appreciate the natural world, and internalize Islamic values of gratitude and mindfulness. The activities allowed the children to connect spiritual teachings with real-world experiences, fostering a deeper sense of awareness and connection to Allah. This method not only promoted mindfulness but also helped the children develop emotional regulation and greater empathy towards their surroundings. The study concludes that Islamic mindfulness techniques, specifically through Tadabbur Alam, are an effective tool for promoting spiritual growth, mindfulness, and gratitude in early childhood education.
