Abstract
This study explores the use of digital comic media to enhance fifth-grade students' understanding of the water cycle concepts at MIN 45 Aceh Besar. The aim of the research was to determine whether digital comics, as an interactive and engaging medium, could improve students' comprehension of the water cycle and related processes. During the study, students were exposed to digital comics that visually represented the stages of the water cycle, including evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' ability to describe and explain the stages of the water cycle after using digital comics. The engaging nature of digital comics helped students to visualize the process, making abstract concepts easier to understand. Furthermore, students showed greater enthusiasm and motivation to participate in learning activities. This study concludes that digital comic media is an effective tool for teaching complex science concepts, offering a creative and visual approach that fosters better understanding and student engagement in the classroom.
