Abstract
This study examines the application of digital sketchnote techniques to enhance students' understanding and creativity on the topic of matter change (perubahan wujud benda) in fifth-grade students at MIS Miftahul Jannah. The research aimed to assess whether using digital sketchnotes could help students visualize and better understand the concept of matter changing states, such as from solid to liquid or gas. Students were tasked with creating digital sketchnotes to illustrate the different phases of matter and their characteristics. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ ability to explain the processes of matter change, as they were able to visually represent the stages and concepts involved. Additionally, students demonstrated increased creativity in presenting their ideas through digital tools, allowing them to express their understanding in a more personalized and engaging way. This study concludes that digital sketchnote techniques are an effective method for enhancing both comprehension and creativity, helping students engage with complex scientific concepts in a more interactive and enjoyable way.
