Abstract
This study explores the utilization of student-created podcasts as a learning medium to enhance Fiqh literacy, specifically focusing on the topic of fasting (puasa), for sixth-grade students at MI Sudirman Gebyog Mojogedang Karanganyar. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design. The students were tasked with creating podcasts that explain the concept, rules, and importance of fasting in Islam. Data was collected through observations, student reflections, and teacher interviews. The findings reveal that the use of podcasts significantly improved students’ understanding of Fiqh, as they actively engaged in researching, discussing, and presenting the material in a creative and accessible format. Additionally, the podcast creation process enhanced students' digital literacy and communication skills. The study emphasizes the effectiveness of using podcasts as an innovative and interactive tool to support religious education, making learning more engaging and practical. It suggests that podcasting can be a valuable method to improve Fiqh literacy in a fun and interactive way, fostering both academic and personal growth in students.
