Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study aims to explore the application of music and Islamic songs as a teaching technique to improve the understanding and application of moral values (akhlak) among 20 students at RA Perwanida Buntok. The primary goal of this research is to assess how integrating music and Islamic songs into the learning process can enhance students’ comprehension of values such as honesty, kindness, respect, and responsibility. Data was collected through observations, teacher interviews, and student assessments to evaluate the impact of this method on students' behavior and character development. The results show a significant improvement in students' understanding and implementation of moral values in their daily interactions. Furthermore, the inclusion of music and songs made learning more engaging, allowing students to better internalize these values. The study concludes that the use of music and Islamic songs is an effective and enjoyable method to foster moral development and character education in early childhood settings. This approach can serve as a valuable tool for teaching Islamic values and should be considered for broader implementation in similar educational environments.
