Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the effectiveness of simulation and game-based learning in enhancing students' understanding of Akidah (Islamic Creed) at SDN 03 Beringin. The research follows a two-cycle model involving planning, action, observation, and reflection to improve the teaching process. The experimental group was engaged in activities that incorporated simulation and game-based learning, designed to teach core concepts of Akidah, including the pillars of belief and the attributes of Allah. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, observations of student engagement, and interviews with both students and teachers. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' understanding of Akidah, as evidenced by higher post-test scores compared to the pre-test. The use of simulation and games helped make abstract concepts more concrete and engaging, allowing students to interact with and apply the teachings of Akidah in a more practical and enjoyable way. This study concludes that simulation and game-based learning are effective methods for improving students' understanding of Islamic Creed in primary school education. The results suggest that these methods should be considered for broader implementation in teaching Islamic subjects.
