Penerapan Metode STEAM Islami dalam Pembelajaran PAI untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas di SDN 16 IV Koto Aur Malintang

Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the application of the
Islamic STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) method
in Islamic Education (PAI) lessons to enhance students' creativity at SDN 16 IV
Koto Aur Malintang. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle
consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The application
of the STEAM Islamic approach integrates Islamic values with the five disciplines
of STEAM to create an engaging and innovative learning environment. The study
involved 30 students from grade 5, and data were collected through observations,
interviews, and questionnaires. The results indicate that implementing the STEAM
Islamic method significantly improved students' creativity, both in cognitive and
psychomotor aspects. The students demonstrated increased enthusiasm, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, they were able to apply Islamic
values in their learning process, connecting science and technology with moral
principles. This research shows that the STEAM Islamic approach can be an
effective method to foster creativity and enhance the quality of Islamic Education
at elementary schools.
