Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Islamic values among early childhood students at TK Nurul Akhirah, Kec IV Koto Aur Malintang, through a thematic learning model based on the stories of the Prophets. Early childhood education is a crucial stage for instilling values, especially religious values that are essential in shaping character and moral development. The research employs a thematic approach, integrating Islamic teachings with real-life examples from the stories of the Prophets, to engage students effectively. The study uses a qualitative method with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The result of this research shows that thematic learning, centered on Prophet stories, significantly improved the students' understanding and engagement in Islamic education. Furthermore, this approach created a fun and meaningful learning environment, fostering curiosity and spiritual awareness among the children. The research suggests that thematic learning, particularly through Prophet stories, is an innovative and effective method in teaching Islamic values to young children, contributing to their moral and religious development.
