Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Islamic teachings at SDN 13 Bukit Kaciak by implementing a storytelling-based learning model focusing on the stories of the Prophet's companions. In the context of early education, understanding religious values is crucial for shaping the moral and spiritual development of students. However, students often face challenges in relating to abstract religious concepts. The study uses a qualitative approach with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The model focuses on narrating stories of the Prophet's companions to inspire students, linking these narratives with values such as integrity, patience, and empathy. Data were collected through student performance assessments, observations, and interviews with teachers. The results indicate that this model effectively engages students, increases their interest in learning PAI, and helps them understand and apply religious values in their daily lives. The study suggests that integrating storytelling about the companions of the Prophet into PAI lessons can be a powerful tool in enhancing students’ moral and religious education, making the learning process more meaningful and relatable.
