Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Islamic Education (PAI) in TKN 03 Lengayang by implementing an interactive learning model based on the life stories of the Prophets. The importance of developing moral and religious values in early childhood is crucial for character formation, and PAI plays a central role in this process. However, traditional methods often fail to fully engage young students. This research introduces a new approach using stories from the life of the Prophets to make Islamic teachings more relatable and engaging. The study follows a qualitative method, consisting of two cycles with planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observations, teacher interviews, and student performance assessments. The results indicate that interactive storytelling significantly increased student engagement, understanding, and retention of Islamic values. Students were more motivated and involved in class discussions and activities. This research highlights the effectiveness of integrating interactive and culturally relevant content in PAI instruction, fostering a deeper connection to religious teachings and promoting active participation. The findings suggest that the use of Prophet stories in an interactive learning context is an innovative and effective strategy to improve Islamic Education in early childhood education.
