Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study aims to explore the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model to enhance students' understanding of Islamic moral values in the Islamic Education (PAI) subject at SDN 08 Sungai Limau. The research targets fourth-grade students, focusing on fostering better understanding and application of Islamic character education, such as honesty, patience, and compassion. This study follows a two-cycle approach, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data is collected through observations, student reflections, and teacher feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of the TPS model in engaging students and improving their comprehension of Islamic moral values. The findings are expected to show that the TPS model enhances student participation, improves collaboration among peers, and helps students internalize moral values in real-life situations. This research contributes to the development of interactive and collaborative teaching strategies in Islamic education, particularly in strengthening character development in elementary school students.
