Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Game Edukasi untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Aqidah Akhlak pada Siswa SDN 11 V Koto Timur

Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of Aqidah Akhlak in the PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) subject at SDN 11 V Koto Timur through the application of an educational game-based learning model. The study follows a cyclical approach consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, interactive educational games were incorporated to engage students actively and make the learning process more enjoyable. The study involved 30 students from the 5th grade, and data were gathered through pre-and post-tests, observations, and student feedback. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ comprehension and engagement with the subject matter. By integrating game-based learning, students not only showed better retention of the Aqidah Akhlak material but also increased participation during class discussions. The findings suggest that incorporating educational games into Islamic studies can foster an engaging and effective learning environment, leading to better academic achievement and deeper understanding of religious values. This research contributes to exploring innovative teaching methods in PAI, particularly in elementary school settings.
