Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Aqidah Akhlak in the PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) subject at UPT SDN 01 Sungai Rumbai, Kabupaten Dharmasraya, through the application of an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The AR-based model was used to create interactive and immersive learning experiences for students, helping them better understand abstract concepts of Aqidah Akhlak. The research involved 30 fifth-grade students, and data were collected through pre-and post-tests, classroom observations, and student feedback. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement and comprehension, as students became more motivated and actively participated in learning activities. Additionally, the AR model allowed students to visualize and experience real-life applications of Islamic moral values, enhancing their connection to the material. This research suggests that integrating AR technology into Islamic education can provide an engaging, effective, and memorable learning experience, fostering both academic achievement and moral development among students
