Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Aqidah Akhlak in early childhood education at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Pasaman through the implementation of the Role Playing learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The Role Playing method was applied to engage children in interactive activities that allowed them to embody moral values in real-life scenarios. This method is particularly effective for young learners, as it encourages them to act out different situations, helping them internalize the moral teachings of Islam. Data was collected through observations, student feedback, and assessments before and after the implementation of each cycle. The results showed significant improvements in children's ability to understand and apply values of Aqidah Akhlak, as reflected in increased participation and positive behavioral changes. The findings suggest that Role Playing can be a valuable tool in early childhood education, providing a fun and interactive way for young learners to grasp essential moral concepts. This research highlights the potential of active learning models in enhancing the quality of Islamic education at the preschool level.
