Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Aqidah Akhlak in the PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) subject at SMPN 2 Ulakan Tapakis through the implementation of the Blended Learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The Blended Learning model combines face-to-face learning with online learning, allowing students to access materials and engage in discussions both in the classroom and remotely. This model provides flexibility in delivering content, promoting self-directed learning, and enhancing student engagement. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, classroom observations, and student surveys to assess their understanding and involvement. The results showed significant improvements in students' comprehension and participation, with post-test scores reflecting a deeper understanding of Aqidah Akhlak. Additionally, students expressed greater motivation and interest in the subject when using Blended Learning, which integrated both interactive online activities and traditional classroom methods. This study highlights the potential of Blended Learning to enhance the quality of Islamic education, making it more engaging, accessible, and relevant for students.
