Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding and engagement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMPN 20 Sijunjung through the implementation of collaborative learning methods integrated with technology. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research involved 30 eighth-grade students, with the primary goal of assessing how technology-based collaborative learning methods could improve student participation and comprehension of PAI topics. During the intervention, students worked together on projects using digital tools, such as interactive online discussions and educational platforms. Data was collected through pre- and post-tests, observations, and student feedback. The results showed a significant increase in both student engagement and academic performance, as students became more active in learning and collaborated effectively with peers. This research demonstrates the potential of using technology and collaborative methods in improving the quality of PAI education, making it more relevant and engaging for students.
