Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN 20 V Koto Timur by utilizing interactive digital media. The study was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research engaged 30 students, focusing on integrating digital tools such as educational apps, interactive videos, and online quizzes into PAI lessons. The objective was to assess the effectiveness of these digital media in improving student engagement, comprehension, and retention of PAI topics. Data was collected through pre- and post-tests, classroom observations, and student feedback. The findings revealed significant improvements in both student motivation and academic performance, as students showed increased enthusiasm and active participation during lessons. The use of interactive media created a more engaging and dynamic learning environment, allowing students to learn at their own pace and access resources beyond the classroom. This study suggests that integrating digital media into PAI lessons can offer an innovative and effective approach to teaching, enhancing both the educational experience and students' understanding of Islamic teachings.
