Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to improve students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through the implementation of a technology-based learning method at SD Negeri 20 Bahagia Panti. The research was conducted over several cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The main focus was on integrating digital tools and multimedia into the PAI curriculum to engage students and enhance their learning experience. The research involved 30 students of Grade 5, who participated in the learning activities using interactive videos, educational apps, and online resources. Data were collected through observations, student questionnaires, and performance assessments. Results showed a significant improvement in students' engagement, comprehension, and retention of PAI topics. The findings suggest that the use of technology in PAI education not only makes learning more interactive but also helps students to better grasp the material. This study provides a model for improving Islamic Religious Education through innovative teaching methods and highlights the importance of adapting technology to traditional subjects.
