Abstract
The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the Pre-Test results of PAI learning
outcomes using the Fish Bowl learning method and without using the Fish Bowl
learning method in Class VIII PAI subjects at SMP N 2 Talamau; (2) to describe the
implementation of learning using the Fish Bowl learning method and without using
the Fish Bowl learning method in Class VIII PAI subjects at SMP N 2 Talamau; (3)
to describe the Post-Test results of PAI learning outcomes using the Fish Bowl
learning method and without using the Fish Bowl learning method in Class VIII PAI
subjects at SMP N 2 Talamau; and (4) to determine the differences in PAI learning
outcomes between students taught using the Fish Bowl learning method and those
taught without using the Fish Bowl learning method in Class VIII PAI subjects at
SMP N 2 Talamau. This study employed a quantitative experimental approach with
a quasi-experimental research design. Data were collected through learning
outcomes tests. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the
selection of an experimental class and a control class based on specific
considerations.
