Abstract
Game-Based Learning is an innovative approach in education that utilizes games to enhance student understanding and engagement in the learning process. This study aims to explore the use of game-based learning in understanding the history of Islamic civilization in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons. Game-based learning is expected to create more engaging and interactive learning. This study employed an observational research method, with observation sheets as the instrument. Direct observations were conducted at SDIT Cahaya Madani Lubuk Sikaping. The results indicate that the game-based learning method is effective in enhancing students' understanding of the history of Islamic civilization in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons.
