Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding and skills in performing wudhu through the demonstration approach in the Islamic Education (PAI) subject at SD Unggul Terpadu, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The study addresses the challenge of students' difficulty in performing wudhu correctly, despite understanding the theory. The demonstration approach was chosen as it allows students to observe the correct procedure and practice it under the teacher's guidance. The research was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, student assessments, and interviews with teachers. The findings indicate that the demonstration approach significantly enhanced students' skills in performing wudhu and improved their understanding of its importance in daily life. Students became more confident and precise in performing the ritual after observing and practicing the steps. This research highlights the effectiveness of using demonstration-based learning to teach practical skills like wudhu, suggesting that it can be a valuable method for teaching other aspects of Islamic rituals.
