Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the concept of belief in the Prophets and Messengers (Iman kepada Nabi dan Rasul) through the Discovery Learning approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UPT SDN 03 Kampung Tengah. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The Discovery Learning approach encourages students to actively engage in discovering and constructing knowledge about the Prophets and Messengers, rather than just receiving information passively. Data was collected through observations, student tests, and interviews with both students and teachers. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Discovery Learning significantly improved students' understanding of the characteristics, stories, and lessons from the lives of the Prophets and Messengers. Students were more engaged in the learning process, and their ability to recall and explain the importance of belief in the Prophets and Messengers increased. This study concludes that the Discovery Learning approach is an effective strategy for teaching Iman kepada Nabi dan Rasul, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject while enhancing student participation and motivation.
