Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of Iman kepada Hari Kiamat (belief in the Day of Judgment) through an active learning approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 20 Pasar Tiku. The research was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. The active learning approach was implemented to engage students in interactive discussions, group activities, and hands-on learning experiences that connect the concept of the Day of Judgment with their everyday lives. Data was collected through observations, student tests, and interviews with both students and teachers. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of the concept of Iman kepada Hari Kiamat, with students demonstrating a deeper comprehension of its importance and implications in their lives. The use of group activities and interactive discussions was found to increase student engagement and motivation in learning about this key concept. This study concludes that the active learning approach is effective in improving students' understanding of Iman kepada Hari Kiamat, making the material more relevant and engaging for students.
