Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Islamic values in early childhood education through the PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam) subject at TK PAUD Pelita Hati. The study was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The focus of the research is on implementing the role-playing method to help young children better understand and internalize key Islamic values. By using role-play, children can experience religious stories and teachings in a more interactive and engaging way, which promotes a deeper understanding of concepts such as kindness, honesty, and respect. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, and reflective notes from both students and instructors. The findings indicate that the role-playing method significantly improved children’s ability to grasp and apply Islamic values in their daily interactions. The research concludes that role-playing is an effective and enjoyable method for teaching Islamic education to young children, as it creates an active and fun learning environment, making abstract concepts more accessible.
