Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the values of silaturahmi (social connection) through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN 23 Lubuk Gadang. Silaturahmi, as an essential aspect of Islamic teachings, promotes cooperation, respect, and harmonious relationships among individuals. The research focuses on improving students' character and interpersonal skills by integrating silaturahmi lessons into the PAI curriculum. The study involves the implementation of a series of learning activities, including discussions, role-plays, and group projects, designed to foster a deeper understanding of silaturahmi and its application in daily life. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and student assessments before and after the intervention. The results showed significant improvement in students' ability to demonstrate values of silaturahmi in their behavior, both inside and outside the classroom. This research highlights the importance of incorporating moral education into Islamic studies, particularly in building social cohesion and promoting positive behavior in young learners.
