Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the role of knowledge in Islam through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Plus Perbankan Bougenville. Knowledge (Ilmu) is highly valued in Islam, and understanding its significance can enhance students' intellectual and moral development. This research focuses on improving students' appreciation of the importance of acquiring knowledge, not only for personal growth but also for contributing to society, especially in the context of banking and finance. The study follows a two-cycle action research model, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. In the first cycle, the lesson focuses on the Quranic perspective of knowledge and its application in real-life contexts, while the second cycle integrates practical examples from the banking industry to help students relate the concept of knowledge to their future careers. Data were collected through student observations, interviews, and assessments before and after the intervention. Results indicate that students gained a deeper understanding of the significance of knowledge in Islam and its relevance to their professional and personal lives. This research highlights the potential of PAI in shaping students' attitudes towards learning and character development in a vocational setting.
