Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the values of amanah (trust) and responsibility through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UPT SDN 09 Teluk Bakung. Amanah and responsibility are fundamental ethical principles in Islam that play a crucial role in shaping character. This study is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The first cycle focuses on introducing the concept of amanah and responsibility through storytelling, group discussions, and role-playing activities. The second cycle incorporates practical exercises where students are encouraged to apply these values in their daily lives, particularly in their interactions with peers, teachers, and the community. Data are collected through observations, interviews, and assessments before and after the intervention. The results indicate that students have developed a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining trust and fulfilling responsibilities in both personal and academic settings. This research demonstrates the effectiveness of using interactive and reflective learning strategies in PAI to instill important ethical values in young learners and highlights the significance of integrating moral education into the school curriculum.
