Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN 16 Kampung Nan VI. The study focuses on improving students' knowledge of the essential sources of Islamic teachings, highlighting their relevance to personal and moral development. The research is conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The first cycle introduces basic concepts of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, focusing on their significance and how they guide daily life. In the second cycle, the teaching methods become more interactive, involving group discussions, role-playing, and application of Islamic teachings in practical scenarios. Data is collected through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests to assess students' progress. The results indicate that interactive learning strategies significantly enhance students' engagement and comprehension of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Students demonstrated an increased ability to understand and apply Islamic values in their daily lives. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating the Al-Qur'an and Hadith into the educational curriculum in a way that connects with students' everyday experiences, thus fostering moral development and spiritual growth.
