Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the Six Articles of Faith (Rukun Iman) in the Islamic Education (PAI) subject at UPT SDN 35 Labuhan Tanjak, specifically in grade VI. The research employs the Cooperative Learning method to enhance students' comprehension and engagement with the material. The study follows four key stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the planning stage, the teacher prepares collaborative learning activities that encourage students to discuss, share, and apply their knowledge of the Six Articles of Faith. During the action stage, students are divided into small groups and engage in cooperative tasks to explore and understand the key concepts of Rukun Iman. Observations are made to evaluate the level of student participation, the effectiveness of the group activities, and the students' grasp of the material. In the reflection stage, the results are analyzed, and adjustments are made for future lessons. It is expected that this approach will not only improve students’ understanding of Rukun Iman but also increase their active participation in Islamic Education. The study aims to contribute to the development of more engaging and interactive teaching strategies in Islamic education at the elementary level.
