Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of faith in the Hereafter (Iman kepada Hari Akhir) within the Islamic Education (PAI) subject at SD Negeri 25 Sungai Sirah Hilir. The study employs a combination of interactive lectures and group discussions to actively engage students in understanding the concept of the Afterlife in Islam and its implications for daily life. The research follows the four stages of CAR: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the planning stage, the teacher prepares materials that explain the concept of faith in the Hereafter using relevant Quranic verses and Hadith. During the action phase, students participate in discussions and interactive lectures, where they can share their thoughts and ask questions about the Afterlife. Observations are made to assess students' participation, engagement, and understanding of the material. In the reflection stage, the findings from the observations are analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of the method used and to make necessary adjustments for future lessons. This research aims to provide a more meaningful and interactive approach to teaching Iman kepada Hari Akhir, encouraging students to internalize and apply this important belief in their daily lives.
