Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the concept of justice in Islam in the Islamic Education (PAI) subject at SMP Negeri 1 Tilatang Kamang. The research utilizes a simulation-based learning method to actively engage students in exploring the principles of justice as outlined in Islamic teachings. The study follows the four stages of CAR: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the planning stage, the teacher prepares materials and activities that illustrate the concept of justice in Islam, including real-life examples and Quranic verses. During the action phase, students participate in role-playing and simulations that allow them to apply Islamic principles of justice to various situations, such as resolving disputes or making fair decisions. Observations are made to assess students' engagement, participation, and comprehension of the concept of justice. In the reflection stage, the collected data is analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of the method and make adjustments for future lessons. The goal of this research is to provide an interactive and practical approach to teaching Islamic values, particularly justice, and to encourage students to apply these values in their daily lives.
