Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the concept of Tawhid in Islamic Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 12 Koto Kaciak. The research focuses on implementing an interactive learning approach to help students better grasp the fundamental concepts of Tawhid. The study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods included classroom observations, interviews with students, and surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching strategies. The findings suggest that incorporating storytelling and group discussions as methods of teaching Tawhid significantly increased students' engagement and understanding. Students became more actively involved in the lessons and were able to articulate the core principles of Tawhid more clearly. The use of interactive activities allowed students to connect the concepts of Tawhid with their daily lives, enhancing their religious understanding. This research highlights the importance of adopting engaging and participatory learning methods in teaching Islamic concepts to primary school students, ensuring a deeper understanding and internalization of the material.
