Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the students' manners towards teachers through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN 18 Sungai Geringging. The study focuses on the application of Islamic values in everyday interactions to cultivate a respectful attitude towards educators. The research uses a qualitative approach, implementing a series of interventions in PAI lessons that emphasize the importance of adab (manners) in Islam. The strategies include role-playing, storytelling, and discussions that highlight the significance of respect and good behavior. Data collection methods involve direct observation, interviews, and reflective journals to assess the changes in students' attitudes and behavior. The results show that integrating Islamic moral teachings in the classroom can significantly improve students' respect for their teachers, fostering a positive learning environment. This research also provides valuable insights into how PAI can contribute to character building in elementary schools, particularly in shaping students' interactions and communication with teachers. The findings suggest that effective incorporation of Islamic adab principles can create a harmonious relationship between students and teachers, which positively impacts the overall learning process.
