Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' character development by integrating the stories of Prophet Muhammad SAW in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN 13 Balai Kurai Taji. The research seeks to explore how the exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammad can be used to instill moral values and positive behaviors in students. A qualitative approach is employed, where storytelling, role-play, and group discussions are utilized as interactive methods to engage students in learning the life lessons from the Prophet's experiences. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and reflection journals to measure changes in students' attitudes and behaviors. The findings indicate that incorporating Prophet Muhammad’s exemplary stories in PAI significantly improves students’ understanding of Islamic values, enhances their social interactions, and fosters respect for others. This research highlights the importance of using storytelling as an effective tool in teaching Islamic ethics, showing that it can motivate students to adopt positive traits such as honesty, kindness, and patience. The study concludes that teaching the stories of Prophet Muhammad SAW is a powerful approach to building character in elementary school students.
