Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' trustworthiness (perilaku amanah) through the implementation of Islamic Education (PAI) lessons at SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. The issue of integrity among students is critical in shaping their character and is one of the core values taught in Islamic education. The research focuses on the use of various teaching methods to enhance students' understanding and application of trustworthiness in their daily lives. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and assessments to measure the students' attitudes and behaviors before and after the intervention. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Results from the study showed a significant improvement in students' behaviors related to trustworthiness after participating in PAI lessons. This research demonstrates the effectiveness of Islamic Education in shaping positive character traits in students, especially in fostering trust and integrity. The findings also offer valuable insights for educators in enhancing character-building activities in schools.
