Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the importance of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) through Islamic Education (PAI) lessons at SD Negeri 11 Silaut. Dhikr is a central practice in Islam that has numerous spiritual, psychological, and physical benefits, but its importance is often not fully grasped by students. This research focuses on implementing interactive and engaging teaching methods to increase students' awareness and practice of dhikr in their daily lives. The research is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data are collected through observations, interviews, and assessments to evaluate the impact of the intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding and practice of dhikr, as well as an increase in their spiritual engagement. This study highlights the importance of using innovative teaching approaches to enhance students' religious practices and foster a deeper connection to their faith. The findings offer valuable insights into how Islamic Education can be a tool for strengthening religious practices and character building among young learners.
