Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the effectiveness of active learning strategies in increasing students' understanding and awareness of "Infaq" (voluntary charity) at UPT SDN 18 Tanjung Kandis. The research adopts a qualitative approach, focusing on improving the cognitive and affective aspects of students' attitudes toward infaq through interactive and collaborative learning models. The intervention consists of group discussions, case studies, and real-life applications of infaq in the community. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with students' responses analyzed to assess changes in their understanding and behavior. The results show a significant improvement in students' comprehension of infaq, demonstrating the potential of active learning techniques to foster social responsibility and empathy. This study contributes to the development of innovative teaching methods that integrate moral values and social awareness into the curriculum. It emphasizes the importance of involving students in practical experiences to cultivate a deeper sense of giving and community involvement.
