Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the concept of "Iman kepada Rasul" (Faith in the Prophets) through the implementation of the inquiry learning model in Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) at SD Negeri 22 Sungai Lansek. The research focuses on how inquiry-based learning, which encourages critical thinking and active participation, can help students explore and deepen their understanding of the Islamic concept of belief in the Prophets. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observations, interviews, and questionnaires, and were analyzed to assess changes in students’ understanding and engagement with the material. The results indicated that the inquiry-based approach significantly improved students' comprehension of the subject matter, as well as their ability to relate the concept of faith to their daily lives. This study contributes to the development of more interactive and engaging methods for teaching religious education in primary schools, particularly in the context of Islamic teachings.
