Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the Prophets of Allah through a Project-based Learning (PjBL) model at SDN 31 Tanjung Alai. The research focuses on engaging students in exploring the lives and teachings of the Prophets, fostering a deeper connection to the material. The PjBL model encourages active participation and critical thinking, allowing students to work on projects that require them to research, collaborate, and present their findings about the Prophets of Islam. This research is conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of the Prophets' stories and their teachings. Additionally, students' collaboration skills, communication, and ability to analyze historical and religious contexts were enhanced. This research suggests that PjBL is an effective approach for teaching religious education, as it promotes not only cognitive understanding but also the development of important life skills. By engaging students in meaningful projects, this model can make religious education more relevant and impactful.
