Abstract
This action research aims to explore the effectiveness of contextual learning in teaching "Al-Qur'an as a Guide for Life" at UPT SD Negeri No 30 Koto Tuo. The study investigates how integrating the values and teachings of the Qur'an into students' daily lives can enhance their understanding and application of these principles. The research employs a contextual learning approach, where students are encouraged to relate Quranic teachings to real-life situations, fostering a deeper connection with the material. Data will be collected through classroom observations, student interviews, and assessments before and after the intervention. The findings are expected to demonstrate that contextual learning can increase students' engagement with the Quranic content, improve their moral development, and provide them with a practical understanding of how to incorporate these teachings into their everyday actions. This study aims to contribute to the development of more meaningful religious education strategies, making the Qur'an's teachings relevant and applicable to students in their daily lives.
