Abstract

This action research aims to enhance students' understanding and practice of "Tata Cara Wudhu" (the procedure of ablution) at SD Negeri 16 Kampung Dalam. The study focuses on improving the students' ability to correctly perform wudhu through an active learning approach that combines theory with practice. By engaging students in hands-on activities and discussions, the research seeks to address common misconceptions and difficulties that students face in learning the proper steps of wudhu. The research will be conducted in several cycles, with each cycle including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data will be collected through direct observations, student feedback, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure improvements in students' understanding and execution of wudhu. The expected outcome is that by using active learning strategies, students will not only memorize the steps of wudhu but also be able to perform them correctly in daily life. This study contributes to developing more effective teaching methods for religious practices in elementary schools, particularly for teaching ablution as an essential part of Islamic rituals.
