Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on improving students' understanding of the role of Hadith in everyday life at SMK Teknologi Lengayang. The study involves 30 students and aims to enhance their comprehension of how Hadith influences personal behavior, social interactions, and ethical decision-making. The research is conducted in two cycles, where the first cycle introduces Hadith as a source of guidance in life, while the second cycle emphasizes practical applications through discussions, case studies, and role-playing. Data were collected through classroom observations, student reflections, and assessments of their understanding of Hadith's relevance in modern life. The findings suggest that incorporating Hadith into lessons on ethics and morality improves students' ability to connect Islamic teachings with their daily actions. Students demonstrated increased awareness of ethical conduct, respect for others, and a stronger sense of responsibility. This research highlights the importance of integrating religious teachings into vocational education to foster well-rounded, ethical individuals. The results also suggest that contextual learning, where students can relate teachings to real-life situations, is an effective way to engage them in character-building education.
